A training programme on Infrastructure for EV Deployment was conducted through NSB from 6th to 10th Nov in which 20 participants from Guyana, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Maldives attended the programme. GM (IBD) inaugurated the programme in the presence of Director (NSB), Head (PMI), and senior officials from NTPC and NSB. The programme was designed to provide the participants with knowledge and skills related to EVs, batteries, and charging infrastructure.
This was first in the series of four such Capacity Building programmes being planned by NTPC for professionals from Indo- Pacific countries under the aegis of Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program, Development Partnership Administration, Ministry of External Affairs.
Training programmes on Smart Grid, Cross Border Energy Trading, and Micro Grid are also planned to be conducted in the coming months.
